Marlene Maltby RDN, CSP, CD, CNSC, CLT
REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST | SPECIALIST IN PEDIATRIC NUTRITION | CERTIFIED LEAP THERAPIST
As an integrative and functional dietitian, I use an approach that doesn’t just look to manage or prevent a disease, but takes a deeper look at the root causes, genetic predisposition, physiological, psychological and interdependent factors that contribute to disease. With this information, I help you find the eating style that works best for YOU and YOUR body so that you can feel your best.
Specialty areas include pediatric & adolescent nutrition, food sensitivities, pediatric nutrition (infants, kids & teens), food sensitivities associated with a variety of inflammatory and auto-immune conditions, plant-based eating (e.g. vegetarian, vegan) and real food diets for people fed via a feeding tube.
Prior to becoming a dietitian, I completed professional training as a pastry chef through the Seattle Culinary Academy. While I loved baking, I soon learned that I wanted to do something more than make delicious food. I want to help people learn how to use food to transform their lives. So, I went on to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and do just that at Seattle's top hospitals and since 2014, here at Dandelion Nutrition.
